Remedy Burger - Staunton

Great blue cheese burger and truffle fries. Highly recommend this place.

We went for lunch with our kids and were instantly greeted by Alejandro, this guy is awesome. He totally sold us on how amazing their food was, suggested with great alliteration what to get and gave us recommendations of what to do around town. We had two to the happy kids plates with cheese burgers, both kids loved them and their little toys. My wife and I shared a Remedy, Ballard Burger and Loaded Fries. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning our next time in town.Kid-friendliness: Alejandro instantly engaged with our kids and made great suggestions for their meals.

In our Easter weekend getaway to Staunton, we doubled back from the outdoor Frontier Culture Museum back to downtown Staunton to visit Remedy for lunch. They have a nice drink menu of well-priced cocktails (I got their twist on a Moscow Mule) where we went the night before and then decided we had to go back the next day for lunch. (Next time we’ll make it a point to go to their sister restaurant The Green Room for more drinks!)The veggie burger is a smashed broccoli and cheesy patty which works well with the vegetarian burger and the toasted sesame bun. The Remedy sauce is nice and creamy and the fries were a home run. Nicely salty and crispy. My only regret was not getting the truffle fries which is on my list next time. Super friendly and welcoming staff and you can order via app or via staff. We didn’t wait for a table and they had us in and out in 30 mins (and even gave us some ice for our cooler on our road trip home).10/10 would come here againVegetarian options: The have veggie burger patty and fries. I guess you could also not have them put the meat off the wedge salad

The burgers were good but the bacon fries were delicious! We sat at a high top and didn’t care for it because it was too small and hated the stool seating.
