Waffle House - Statesboro

The server was in training, and it took her a moment to clear our table, but overall, she did an excellent job. She even remembered to change our little one's drink after she caught up with her other tables, which I had requested since he needed to eat before drinking too much.

We arrived around 12:30 and found the parking lot packed, with about a 10-15 minute wait for a table. Once seated, our waitress Elizabeth greeted us promptly and was ready to take our drink orders. My son and his roommate, quite hungry, immediately placed their food orders, which included numerous substitutions and special preparation requests. I was impressed by how easily Elizabeth managed their intricate order with a smile. Our breakfasts arrived in a timely manner, all at once. We each tried different versions of the “All-Star” breakfast, and everyone fell in love with the hash browns—so much so that we ended up ordering extras! Everything was fantastic: the bacon was perfectly cooked, the eggs were just right, the pecan chocolate chip pancakes were scrumptious, and the grilled biscuits with gravy were delicious. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I can confidently say that we will definitely be back!

Some waffle houses may have staff who lack a sense of urgency, but this one is different. The cooks work quickly to prepare and serve your food while it's still hot. The staff is courteous and friendly, delivering your meal with a smile. If, for any reason, your food doesn't meet your expectations or isn't what you ordered, the team here is more than willing to fix it. Overall, the dining experience is quite enjoyable, whether you choose to eat in or take out.

I had an all-star breakfast that included sausages, grits, and wheat toast, along with perfectly cooked over-light eggs. I also enjoyed a waffle, and everything was delicious!
