El Sombrero - Statesboro

I came here with my friends to have lunch.<br/ Positives first: Food was great. Servers are very friendly and smiling. They understand what we say, we need on our plate and serve accordingly. We have to be a good foodie to finish their servings of food quantity.<br/ <br/ Negatives: Waiting time after ordering is very long. We had almost 2 baskets of Nachos before the actual food was served. We are in the restaurant at around 3PM and they started cleaning their Buffet stand and mop their floor. It will not be a disturbance, when we are a bit farther from the Buffet stand, but as we are seated right beside the stand, it is very noisy and the floor cleaner smell is not a good thing while we are eating.<br/ <br/ I will be here soon again, for their good food, but I will choose a place where I can enjoy my food peacefully.

Always reliable for mecican food and margaritas. Decent food, decent prices. REALLY sketchy service; sometimes okay, sometimes horrendous.

The food was wonderful. My boyfriend and i ate there for lunch. We had the cheese dip, a taco salad, and a quesadilla. We both ate for 16$. very pleased.

El Som!!!!. $2 Big Beer! The cheese enchiladas are so good. Really good service. I love El Som and miss it now that I don't live in the Boro anymore.
