Tack's Chinese Take Out - Staten Island

As a teenager, I must say the curry chicken, shrimp, and beef dish at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The flavors are unique and unbeatable, and I have not tasted anything like it anywhere else.

The fried rice at this restaurant is still very good. My daughter prefers the huh fried rice, while I enjoy the pork fried rice. I plan on trying the beef fried rice next.

I have just ordered a beef egg foo young and I've got to say it was a mistake. Instead of crispy, it was mushy, like seriously mushy. Everything was drenched in soy sauce, and that was the only flavor I could get out of it, including the pork fried rice, which would've been perfect if it wasn't for the overwhelming soy sauce and grease. First and last time I ordered from this place.

Tack's is actually really good. I tried many items on their menu over a few occasions. Everything is on point. One exception are the wings which are dry, hard as a rock and tiny. Don't order their wings. They provide a bag of sauces and complimentary oolong tea.I deduct 2 stars because I found a small pebble in my rice. It nearly broke my tooth. Anyone else would have already sued them.Side note, of the people who left them positive Google reviews: there are 5 Lins and 2 Chens as last names. ALL of which had 1 or no prior reviews. C'mon ?

Greatest food! Everything we ordered was awesome. General tso chicken and happy family were a hit! It came out hot and fresh. I always come back.
