The Old owners sold the restaurant.. the new owners and the new cook have no clue about making food … they sell old food the rice was over cooked and the meat was raw

Amazing food and great service! such lovely people and very welcoming. One of the best meals I've had whilst visiting NYC. The j chicken and rice is so nice and so are the fries!!

Everytime I'm around the St. George area I have to come here. Food is fresh and the front desk was manned by Anwar and he provided top notch customer service. So food: Get the Mandi Lamb, it is savory, not so gamey and falls off the bone. the gravy its.cooked in goes really well with the rice. The Basbousa was very interesting, the texture looks like compressed millet rice(or some kinda round grain) and it was mixed with a syrup that adds to the sweetness. It's sweet but not overly sweet. If you do come try around noon time just as lunch time hits, all the food comes right out of the kitchen and is super fresh. Customer service- they smile and make you feel taken care of. Everyone that I saw come here gets greeted warmly and leaves satisfied. Saw him speak Spanish too.

Wow is all I can say. Their chicken shawarma was A M A Z I N G. I legit can’t wait to see what everything else tastes like.I’ve tried it in Manhattan the Bronx (African style).. this is one of the best hands down. I can also appreciate their culture as you can taste it in their food.I’ll be back for sure !
