Empire Amboy Szechuan - Staten Island

Good portion size priced accordingly no customer loyalty. I moved here 7years ago and have spent thousands here as a once a week or every other week dinner selection. One night about 7 months ago my In-Laws came over to eat we all decided to place a big order have more of a variety and my mother-in-law insisted she pay and wouldn't take no for an answer. My wife added her credit card to purchase the meal and she was satisfied. Months later my mother-in-law couldn't understand charges on her bill and disputed them as anyone would. But after my wife herd what happen and got to talking they realized it was my mother-in-laws card still auto saved on our account ordering food for months. Once we realized it wasn't fraudulent just a mistake she called back and told them we figured it out. We ordered again that week and they called to say we had to pay in cash cause of what was going on ok I said fine. They had already deducted money from the restaurant and the owner upon receiving this order came to do the delivery to find out what was going on. I explained the situation and said it was being resolved they removed the credit from my mother-in-law and it took maybe two weeks to resolve. My next order same deal they called you must pay in cash. Third order same thing. Ok figured maybe it takes longer till it's resolved on their end. Took a month off Today ordered and they call back saying you must pay cash. You know what it's been long enough now that it's resolved I'm not paying cash for eternity now you lose the business. We live in a digital age where people don't carry cash anymore and fraud is a real thing people act fast when they think something's wrong and mistakes happen get over it. I've spent thousands here over the years and if a hold on a few hundred dollars for a few weeks is hurting your business then you got bigger problems than accepting payments from me.

Everything is good, best Chinese on Staten Island. Better than jade island , this place is the top

This restaurant serves delicious Chinese food! I have enjoyed everything I have ordered here. The combination platters come in very generous portions. It is definitely my favorite place to eat.

Wow! I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the best Chinese food spot on the south shore of Staten Island! The food is incredibly delicious and perfectly crispy. The lunch specials come with generous portions. And the egg rolls are just perfect.

So, me and my wife ordered from Empire Szechuan and it was delicious!!! We did pickup, I ordered the roast pork w/ broccoli, nice thick cuts of pork, paired with the brown rice, very flavorful, good portions as well. My wife ordered the mango shrimp with white rice, very flavorful, and portions were good as well. Also, ordered the pork dumplings steamed, very good as well, good size as well. Very much enjoyed our meal, and the way it was packaged was very good as well, very neat and organized! Will be ordering again! Thank you.
