Cucina Fresca - Staten Island

Now under new ownership, but offering pretty much the same menu. Unfortunately the new kitchen staff falls far short of the original staff. Steak requested medium rare was terribly overdone. When I was told I didn't specify how I preferred it, I asked the owner to please check with my server as I was very specific, saw her write it down, and she repeated our orders back to us. And what kitchen worth its salt cooks a steak to death? We also had chicken Milanese, but it didn't have the arugula or other salad greens that's supposed to be part of the dish. This was a disappointment all around. I sure hope they can pull it together.

It's been awhile since I've been at Cucina Fresca. I was passing thru and stopped to order the chicken Caesar wrap. I came to find out that Jill the owner is no longer there, however the new owners are longtime neighbors of Jill. I had the pleasure to meet and chat with Justin, the new owners son. They all were a delight and I'm so happy that the place won't loose its ambiance that has kept it going for so many years. Good luck to you guys and btw my wrap was delish ?

From the time my boyfriend I walked in untill the time we left we had a wonderful time. The waitress was very friendly. The food was delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!Food: 5/5

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Great experience, awesome service, and loving hospitality. Besides that the food was of exceptional quality. Definitely coming back again.
