Omaras - STANTHORPE

Amazing for a casual dinner. Great food and ambience. Ate their grilled beaf and my friend had vegan food. Tasty meal for a casual night. Watched Australian football while at it and the ambience was just amazing. Great place for a family evening out, it is a bar so be ready for the noise and people cheering Aussi football. I enjoyed and we were able to have conversations. Right in the middle of town and offers accomodation too. Carry cash with you, you have to make orders at the counter then food is brought to you.

We often stop here for a Meal when in Stanthorpe, we where not disappointed this time, the Pub has a real friendly family feel. Very good staff. The food is always excellent, very well cooked and very good portions, fresh vegetables, everything tastes amazing, compliments to the Chef. We absolutely recommend this hotel

We recently visited Stanthorpe for two days, and ate lunch and dinner both days at O'Maras. Congratulations to the chef, as all the meals were excellent. The vegetables especially were a treat to eat fresh, perfectly cooked and a good variety. We also recommend you try the home cooked soups we had the pumpkin and the pea and ham, and both were excellent. We have eaten here on previous trips and it has never let us down.

The food at this restaurant was amazing, especially the grilled chicken and crispy skinned salmon. The cheesy garlic bread was also delicious. There is a good selection of sides to choose from and the staff were friendly and helpful. While the prices are on the higher end for a pub, I believe it is worth it. This restaurant is popular, even on weeknights, so making a reservation is definitely a good idea.

We ended up here as it was the only place open at 1 pm on a Saturday for lunch, on the main street. The staff were friendly, pub style food was good. Would eat there again.
