Oporto Broadway - Stanmore

We visited this restaurant twice. They made a mistake with our order on the second visit, but they were friendly about it. The establishment is a bit chaotic, but the food is good. It's like an almost Nando's experience.

I visited Oporto Broadway at 10:30 and purchased 2 burgers and 1 order of chips, specifically requesting fresh chips. I hurried home due to my sick partner, only to find that my chips were double fried old chips, despite my explicit instructions. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, he accused me of being away for half an hour. I informed him that I could provide proof with my bank details, as I had paid with a card. He insinuated that I was foolish and unable to distinguish between new and old chips. Oporto should consider hiring a more competent manager to avoid serving customers old chips, rather than putting the blame on them. Customer satisfaction should be a priority for their business.

The Oporto location across from Broadway Centre is a favorite spot for university students, which means it can get quite crowded. The food is always consistent with Oporto's standards, as is the service.

I am a regular guest at nando’s in canterbury rd. nando’s in broadway shopping is new, just a few steps in hoyt’s cinema. the sitting arrangement is really good, spacious, and it is pleasant to have a simple meal. service is friendly and the food...served is just good, but I still prefer to dinate in canterbury rd, and I can say the best of all nando’s restaurants chain.

This Oporto outlet is clean and tidy, even in lunch peak service well done. The food is up to Oporto standards (great) and is served fresh and hot, and when you ask for extra chilli sauce its no problem and you get it. Recommended.
