Da Shack Cafe Petersham - Stanmore

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and were pleased to discover that they serve breakfast all day. I ordered the Banana and Nutella crepes while he had the Rachel crepes, both of which were delicious and fulfilling. In addition to the great food and coffee, I appreciate the charm and character of this place. The restaurant opens up to a lovely green park next door and has a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

This restaurant serves the best food. If you want excellent coffee, delicious food, desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth, and a friendly chat with the cafe owner (Steve), this is the place to go. The location overlooking the park is great, and you can also shop for fresh flowers or gifts in the in-house gift shop. I highly recommend trying the legendary CBLT sandwich, a latte, lemon slice, and a scented candle. I give this place a 10/10 rating.

I rarely take the time I should to post reviews but I seriously rate this place. A solid offering of delicious, no-nonsense cafe fare, great service, relaxed vibe and off-the-hook coffee. (the croissant cake warmed up with ice cream on a cold day is transcendental!

The food, coffee, and pastries are amazing at this restaurant. It's a very inviting place with a nice atmosphere. I've been coming here for breakfast all week and it's already become my go-to spot. It reminds me of the cozy neighborhood coffee shops in Austin, TX, but with delicious Aussie breakfast options instead of breakfast tacos. I'll likely have breakfast here every morning until I leave for LA. It's also a pleasant walk from where I'm staying. If you're in Stanmore in the morning, be sure to give it a try.

Great cafe....very generous servings...great value and service. Parking close by and a nice relaxing atmosphere. I have back 3 times in the last month.
