Wheeler's - Standish

Ordered cod bites basket and 2 sides bake potatoe and side salad. Then when the order came out it was bites and fries. Did give us an option to change our order to the dinner since the waitress said the basket only comes with fries. Was very disappointed with this restaurant. Don't believe the waitresses.

Traveling through Standish we saw Wheelers. Interesting old establishment with alot of history. 3 steep concrete steps up to front door, interesting vintage chrome tables and chairs and doll like sized booths in women's room but clean and certainly vintage. We had nachos( fresh, good but bland salsa, no guacamole) perogies on sauerkraut, and a great salad bar. Bought donuts to take home...they were excellent. Service was great and they had steady business alough we were eating a late lunch.

A must stop for the history of the place. Typical American breakfast with a bit of a bakery but not a thing really except a muffin no butter for vegans. Super friendly service !!!!

My waitress was not very friendly to out of towners.

Been having breakfast here for years . My father used to bring me here when I was a little girl. I just absolutely love the atmosphere and Home cooking
