Fusaro's Deli - Stamford

Fresh meats, Italian imports, fresh produce, homemade salted mozzarella balls, an espresso machine, and a good old Italian family running the business—Fusaro's has never let me down. I usually shop at Trader Joe's just down the street, but whenever I'm preparing a Sunday sauce or hosting a pizza night, I always make sure to stop by Fusaro's for my ingredients. If you're cooking Italian, you need to use authentic Italian products. It's a must. The flatbread-style pizza in the attached picture features freshly sliced pepperoni, Fusaro's meatballs, onions, their mozzarella, homemade sauce, and a drizzle of hot honey.

This genuine Italian deli is truly outstanding. My roommate suggested it, and it has quickly become my new favorite spot. You should definitely check it out. The chicken cutlet sandwich I had was incredible. The staff is friendly, and the place is filled with a wide variety of authentic Italian products.

I have been frequenting Fusaro's for years and you couldn't ask for better people. It is the Italian version of Cheers, they know your name, your order and always have time to ask about you and your family. The best part is that the food is equally as amazing as the family. Fresh food, amazing imported goods and all available on holidays, snow days and throughout COVID. To top it off they have some of the best sandwiches around. As I'm writing this I am already making a list of what I need when I go back this weekend. Keep up the good work!

I visited this restaurant for the first time today to try a sandwich, and I will definitely be returning. The staff was incredibly friendly, the sandwich I had was delicious and generously stuffed with meat, and the hot peppers were among the hottest I've ever experienced at a deli! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my wife ordered a meatball parmesan, and it was cold in the middle, so we had to reheat it.
