Nineteen XIX - St. Albert - St.Albert

Great restaurant that can cut your food to an allergy. I haven't eaten a problem here many times.

The staff was very knowledgeable about what gf was or could be changed to make it gf. Delicious food, dessert and cocktail. No Gf bread options, but that's good.

This is a high-end restaurant (by my standards and they treated us like we were high-end patients: Service was amazing, and although we had to wait for a table, they offered free appetizers while we were waiting. I asked for gluten free options and the waitress explained what was and was, but also said I could choose quite everything and the chefs would adapt. I ate a wonderful custom salmon meal, and my husband had a very tasty steak meal! You can also see everything that goes on in the kitchen, so if you are very concerned, you can check how your meal is served after cross-contamination. The price is steep, but it is worth a special occasion!

We have been to the Mullen Way location many times and finally were able to try the St. Albert location for lunch today. As expected, it was nothing short of amazing. The decor is high end without being stuffy, the service is first class and the food did not disappoint. My wife and I each had the San Mateo salad with chicken breast and it was superb. I rarely have a salad for a meal, but the San Mateo is so delicious I couldn't pass it up. Our guest had the chicken clubhouse which she said was excellent. We finished with cappuccino's which were as good as we have ever had anywhere. I cannot say enough good things about both locations and it is wonderful to have such a great restaurant for us to enjoy when we are in St. Albert.

We were there recently with a party of 6. One was a vegan and they were very accommodating. The server asked what type of foods she liked and the chef made a dish for her. It was a nice touch. But overall the service was slow. I’ve been multiple times to both locations but haven’t found an entree that I love yet. I do love their warm butter cake dessert.
