Blythe Bridge Traditional Fish Chip Shop

The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic - all fresh and the best I have ever had. Even better than seaside chips. It's definitely worth the wait for the fresh ingredients.

Absolutely great fish and chip place!! George is brilliant and the quality is so much better than the previous management.

The worst fish and chips, I have had in 67 years, soggy greasy warmed through chips, fish in a soggy greasy batter, fish was dark in colour and did not look or taste fresh, after 2 mouthfuls, we threw them in the bin, disgusting, don't bother.

New owners in March 2015 and they certainly have a task on to turn around what was once a great chip shop which was changed dramatically by the last manager. Everything in there now is cooked very traditionally, the chips are lovely and yellow brown, none of these transparent things you get in a lot of chip shops these days!! With it only being a small place most of your extras are cooked to order but these don't take long and the staff are pleasant and friendly. If they're not too busy they will even bring out your order to your car whilst you wait. Give them a go!

I picked up some fish from this restaurant last night and they were delicious! The cod was fresh and the crispy batter was fantastic. It tasted great. This was my first time trying this place since it changed ownership, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
