Bidrage med feedbackMy husband, two children, and I came to this restaurant for a meal in January. The carvery was good with plenty of meat. However, the ice cream machine was not working properly, so we had to wait a while for our dessert. I was very offended by the signs on the toilets that said "Gorgeous girls" and "Brilliant boys." This is not acceptable in today's society. Girls can also be brilliant, and beauty is subjective. The restaurant should not display gender stereotypes like this.
The staff at the restaurant were indifferent and impolite, giving me the impression that I was bothering them.
I arrived by boat and docked outside this pub recently. I specifically inquired about their service closing time, and was informed by the staff that it was My party then entered the pub and requested a meal, only to be informed that service had ended. The staff were clearing out the carvery area even though there was still food left. The numerous questions they were asking seemed like they were interested in the leftovers. Crown Carvery should look into the management of this establishment, as this situation has occurred before.
The food was good, especially for the price. The selection of three meats from the carvery meant a good variety. The vegetable selection was also good, and you did not feel empty afterwards. Very filling, and as long as you do not go on a Sunday, very well priced.
Came for a meal today January with my husband and two children. Carvary was acceptable, plenty of meat!! Ice cream machine was playing up and we didn't get Ice cream for some time. I was extremely offended by the signs on the toilets, 'Gorgeous girls and 'Brillant boys ' !!!!! This should NOT be acceptable in today's times !!!! Girls are brilliant too!!! And gorgeousness is in the eye of the beholder!!!! It is not the Radford Bank inns place to display an opinion on genders !!!!!
