The Old Causeway Steak Oyster House

The food quality and service at this restaurant fell below our expectations. I would not recommend it to my friends or dine here again.

Previously crooked, first stopped when the bootshof was still closed. happy surprise. has taken a hot second, but it is worth waiting. burger is best ever hands down! so great if they really enjoy what they pay, the Irish espressobombe was a hit. wife loved the tomorrow punsch kinder accommodated the finger and mac and cheese. huge part. clean, fresh, friendly etc., did I best say early burger ever? Anyway, you have to experience nuff'.

We went to the restaurant for brunch with a group of 8 people, and everyone was pleased with their food.

First visit to the Old Causeway last night. Arrived around 5:30pm and it was PACKED. The sign out front announced Happy Hour every day from 4-6 pm, so the crowd was understandable. Asked for a table for 4 and was told it would be around an hour and fifteen minute wait. Less than half that time later, we were seated, so I can't complain! Our server, Dawn, was super sweet and attentive. The food was top notch and the cocktail I ordered, Cherry Drop Martini, was luscious. Recommendations: BBQ Rib app, Andouille Sausage Grinder, and the Tri Tip Sandwich. Great all around spot. Can't wait to go back!
