Village Bakery Cafe - St Roch

Best breakfast brunch spot in Roc that doesn't server alcohol. The food is slightly on the pricey side but not by much over other options and in this case you get what you pay for. Amazing food, excellent pastries and coffee. The egg sandwiches are to die for.

Been coming here and other VB locations for years, and over time they have slowly detracted from their food and products, while of course raising their prices. We've all seen prices go up for expenses lately and that is normal, but the quality and value has declined accordingly. Most recently I found that their BALT now only comes with a single piece of lettuce...a relatively cheap piece of produce. The only time I don't get a single leave is when they opt for iceberg lettuce never know what you'll get. A lot of what they now serve just isn't what it used to be. I hope they get back on track soon, because this is a great restaurant with good food and is a Rochester staple. I'll still be going here for now, but if I find something else of better value I'll be coming less.

Everything looks so delicious. I ordered a caramel latte and a macaroon. They make fresh loaves of breads and pastries. Prices are reasonable. Great place to go to grab a coffee and dessert

This is another one of those places that ask you your name, then offensively won't call you by your name but pick a genderless word instead. Wheelchair accessibility: The bathrooms are spacious.

I stopped in early yesterday before I had movers scheduled to arrive and accidentally dropped my drink while waiting for my food. I was clearly in distress and the staff was very kind, cleaned the spill, remade my drink and even slipped some cookies in with my sandwich that I hadn’t ordered. I’ve always enjoyed the food and drinks and will continue to come here! And it’s one of the few places open before 8 am.
