Salem's Fresh Eats - St. Petersburg

I wish I would have taken a picture of this before I threw it away. I ordered the gizzards and fries combo through the drive-thru. I could tell this food was refried or dipped back into the grease and served. The gizzards are dark brown and overcooked the fries were Brown. And I could taste the grease! It is storming and raining really hard no one else was in line except for me. It is so obvious that this food was sitting. If this is how they do business I will not be back. They charge a dollar for extra sauce, when I think I could have gotten at least one for free with my order. They did give me two free ketchups.

The freshest fast food in town, always clean always, been amazing. This chain of stores has been growing for years. They have brought this place up from very humble beginnings I will always eat here.

From 7/9/23 Visit: their food is pretty decent and their late hours are nice but that’s it. I ordered online and waited 32 mins past the posted ready time for my food and had to ask them about how my order was coming along 3x while they continued serving walk ins and the drive thru, handing them their meals. I ordered my food at 1:40am and left by 2:22. Simple fried food. How is this remotely acceptable? When I asked to speak to a manager to try to expedite this or at least get some sort of apology I was denied and a pointless excuse was made about how they had drive thru orders. They got defensive that I was even asking if they were close to being done with my order. They were not very busy. Not one single time was I told, sorry for the wait, appreciate your patience, etc. When my food was finally ready the younger female dropped it aggressively in front of me and I said, “nice apology,” to which she said “you’re welcome.” They need a whole new staff from the looks of things.Update regarding your corporate response about not having a record of my order and asking for me to send a form in on your web site, I did exactly that the next day. You are either blind or playing stupid. I will send another one. For reference: it says Order : WEB59, pickup at 1:50am SUN July 9, 2023 at 880 34th St N, St Petersburg, FL 33713.

Must be difficult to find good help these days. 15 for fries mushrooms that smell like fish, and they are cold also i asked for no ice in my drink full of ice like come on.get it togetherFood: 1/5
