Great food. Great service. I stopped in to grab a late lunch everything looked appetizing. I selected the pork with white rice and red beans. Delicious! It was a to-go order, packed in a recyclable container, and the food was piping hot when I got to my desk.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! We bought two of the beef options, which names I can't remember, but were very flavorful. the green beans and plantain were so delicious... and I in general dislike plantains, but these were great! There are some unique sodas available as well. Very delicious, and the lady working was very friendly and helpful. Gave us samples so we could know water liked before ordering. We sat outside to eat. But there was indoor sitting as well.

I like getting takeout at Pipo’s. Everything was full of flavor, pork was tasty, onions were crunchy delicious and fried plantains were good too. I also had their sauces. Hot sauce was spicy enough and the green sauce was my favorite. This is my place to go for Cuban food in downtown. Service is usually good and quick. Easy parking on 1st ave north.

Pipo's at this location is all I've experienced but I've been several times. I've met the guy who runs it and he's super friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. Bourbon Chicken Thursdays were once all the rage at my office. Pricing is fair and they have even had punch cards to earn free meals in the past which were nice. If you want a large meal to fill your belly for lunch, get their special and die happy. You may not be able to get any work done for the rest of the day but it'll be worth it. I highly recommend the fried plantains.
