House Of Vegano - St Petersburg

My family and I have been coming to house of Vegano for a couple years. We were originally turned onto them when they were doing pop up sales with a local bakery during Covid. Very happy to see that they’ve survived and thrived! They went through their growing pains when service wasn’t as good but I’m happy to say that that is completely turned around and service is excellent now. The Tom Kha Ramen is so good that I’m afraid I won’t find better in Japan. favorite roll The Burg and Sky is the Limit.

Food was great. My family and I were impressed. Located right there on Central Ave in St.Pete. love the variety of vegan sushi options. Keep up the good work and continue to build and improve this good restaurant.

Honestly super sad to write this review. i was a regular for months at this place until i just couldn’t be anymore. every time i’ve ate there my food takes at least an hour to come out and causes delays in my schedule. i waited an hour and a half on my birthday because they forgot my roll. no apology or discount for that either. then today i tried to order to go for mother’s day for a party of 5. they took my order no problem over the phone, and he was even double checking with the owner that this would be possible. he told me it would be ready in 1 and a half hour. long wait time but whatever, i expected this. but then after waiting for an hour, i was about to leave my house to grab my to go order, i get a call from an employee telling me they can no longer fulfill the order and they were canceling it because the restaurant is full. i guess it’s not really first come, first serve. it’s more like order to go, take a gamble. he told me i should’ve placed it 24 hrs in advance. i could understand if it was ten people but a party of five? i am left scrambling on mother’s day to find another place to eat. food is decent, service is the worst i’ve ever seen.

We loved all the rolls, including the Volcano and Spicy Krab Rolls. Will definitely go back and try more food!

The food was vrry good and tasty. Portions were very good and the soup was outstanding. However the the dinner was pricey. I will come again, but will be more selective.
