Bidrage med feedbackFirst time we visited this establishment. We will be back! Ramen was plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere in the the place was great! Having visited Japan five times now, I will say the tonkatsu Niku Soba I ate was outstanding. A bit sweeter tonkatsu broth than I am used to, but very flavorful! Ramen soba was perfectly cooked. It went so well with the Sapporo biru, LOL. Prices were good. Service was outstanding.
EDIT: I wanted to give this place a second chance and thank goodness I did. We decided to try the beef ramen and shredded char siu ramen. It was so good. I definitely recommend these dishes! We got take out. I did not like it. The soup was bland and so was the pork. For a $13 per bowl, I expected more flavor. It could be different for you so I suggest you out and try it for yourself. The pictures are of crispy chicken ramen Char Siu Ramen.
Modern Japanese RamenShop The bowl was large and the portions toppings were very generous Location is small: smll/ParkingLot, smll/restaurant: seating 30 people max. Not for large groups. Ordered the Bubble Tea: milk tea flavor and it's actually made with real milk tea. Very impressed. Drink was good, not the pearls they were hard- I'd order again without the pearls. Priceis reasonable for the BIG Portions, I'd come here again. Haha
We came here on a whim and we were blown away. Not only was the food delicious, not only were the portions huge. For 2 people we ate like kings for under 50 dollars. Including tip. Absolutely one of my favorite food places in the cities. Ramen broth was seasoned well and the buns were delecious!
At my son’s suggestion, my two teenage sons and I drove across town for some ramen. Ishita did not disappoint — from the free off-street parking and cleanliness of the joint to the table service and the quality of of the food. The char siu pork buns were flavorful and light. The bonofito flakes danced atop the tokoyaki (surprisingly ordered with complete fluidity on account of his familiarity with the dish due to his passion for manga). The edamame was fine. I ordered the niku soba ramen in a tonkotso broth. Delish. Cleaned the bowl. We also had the seafood ramen and crispy chicken ramen, all lovely to behold and flavorful without being overly salty. A win all around for three dudes the week before school starts again.
