Simple mexican food done right. I would recommend the cheese covered borrito with steak.

Very good food and ice cream. Reasonable prices. They don't do table service. My daughter and I found it a very pleasant restaurant.

La Vallesana is perfectly placed at the intersection on Cherokee Street, with an option for outdoor seating that allows you to take in all that the iconic street has to offer. The portion sizes are beyond sufficient, and options are priced reasonably well too. I'm docking a star because their indoor seating layout feels slightly claustrophobic.

I tried the Queso-Raspberry dish for the first time and it was amazing. This time, I opted for three street tacos: chorizo, chicken, and carnitas, and they were all delicious.
