Mi Ranchito - St Louis

Nestled in a corner of a small strip mall, one may not expect to find one of the best Mexican restaurants for miles around, but there it is - Mi Ranchito. As soon as you enter, you are warmly welcomed and seated at a table or booth, with a menu in hand. The walls are adorned with large, authentic Mexican artwork, creating a true Mexican ambiance. A generous serving of salsa and tortilla chips is brought to your table as you peruse the diverse menu options. They even offer my favorite Mexican drink, the Coronarita! The food is always served promptly and the wait staff is attentive without being intrusive. I have never felt rushed to leave. Overall, I have always had a fantastic dining experience and delicious food at Mi Ranchito.

The chicken soup is definitely delicious and u should try it at least 1x!

Quick in and out typically. Good Tex Mex food. Order a better margarita instead of house.

We moved here from Texas recently. We searched for decent TexMex everywhere, and were about to give up, but then my professor suggested MI Ranchito. The food is good, the service is good (and fast). And, we can feed a family of 6 teens/adults, at dinner, for under $100 with tip!

This is currently our favorite Mexican restaurant that we have discovered. While I wouldn't give it a perfect five stars, the carnitas and fajitas were decent. The food may not be completely authentic, but it is more authentic than most other restaurants I have tried.
