Trippy Taco - St Kilda

My boyfriend and stumbled upon this place the other night and decided to stop in for a meal. It was a Tuesday night so it was fairly quiet. Despite the low-key ambiance, the service and food were so good that I couldn't resist leaving a review. We shared the nachos which have to be the most delicious nachos I've ever had. The tortilla chips were awesome and the salsa was super fresh. The serving was also generous enough for the 2 of us to share. The owner was working that evening and made a real effort to check in regularly and he chatted to us about the local area. We really appreciate that kind of personal service.Highly recommend this place for a low-key but seriously delicious week night meal!

Very enjoyable little place. Try the tofu asado, it is to die for! Great range of hot sauce. And the vegan cheese quesidilla is outstanding.

I have been here 3 times and have loved everything I ordered - Tacos and Burritos are fabulous- definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone not just veggies! My boyfriend who is a meat eater even loves this food x Yay that's Trippy Taco ????

My boyfriend and I come to trippy taco every Thursday...we call it trippy Thursdays. They've got the best veggie taquitos, nachos, burritos, really anything on the menu is delicious! Love the vibe, atmosphere, and full bar! I'm from California and this is the most authentic Mexican food I've found in this country. Thanks trippy taco!

I had visions of amazing authentic and tasty Mexican food when we ate here. Staff were warm and friendly but I found the flavour in the food supremely lacking. We ate the tomale, bean burrito and chips but we didn't finish any of them
