POW Kitchen - St Kilda

Look the food it pretty good a replica of a lot of modern Asian fusion places around town. We had early dinner and there was a raucous group that had clearly been there since lunch. I wouldn't mind but the place was empty and they sat us next to them. And I don't mean just loud: they were so drunk they were falling over themselves and trying to join us for dinner...

Great environment, fast and efficient service and a plethora of dishes to choose from medium plates are a decent size. Tasty Asian cuisine, only let down by the chili overpowering pretty much each dish, spoiling other flavours. Reasonably good wine list. Kudos to the staff for their attentiveness. 30% locals discount (specific postcodes) on a Tuesday.

Can stop going. Twice in a week and going almost every Tuesday when the locals get 30% off the bill. The food is great and friendly service. Food is really Interesting, great combinations and very well balanced seasonings. Obviously a real talent in the kitchen. Can't wait for summer so we can enjoy a balmi night on their terrace. See you later ..

Amazing food somewhere that actually does chilli right. Perfect balance of heat and flavour in every dish we had. Cracking drinks selection and one of the best spots to eat in St Kilda. Summer nights on that terrace with the sun going down over the bay Magic! 10/10 staff.

The only downfall is thst its tucked in between two very busy messy loud night clubs.. w9th door and prince of wails... as you can see only a sign up high can be viewed from the street.. the doors at durat glance appear to be doors to the prince of wales... They used to be as it is the same building. The big black tiled double entrance. Look up for the sign name... they glow. I was in a rush to avoid the crowd outside getting worse as i ride an electric board everywhere... i cant walk let alone roll through them with out being attacked for saying no to people who want to ride this multi thousand dollar motor bike shaped like a board. I tell rhem its for theur safety and i need to get home. They will crash. They instantly try to take and break the board. So ive foubd best is to play dumb and agreeable and lead oht if the crowd. I show them how they need to stand before they get on... then i just hot the accelerator n then board shoots on its owb away i run to grab it n skate away at 45 kph. Ve careful just go early and its great.
