Express Cafe - St. John's

Visited this place on a Sunday at noon because of its very appealing and innovative menuThe empty restaurant was the first warning sign.

This was an extremely pleasant surprise!! Better than the Bagel Cafe down the street.

ITS LIT. The eggs Benny came with big ol hunks of ham and everything was cooked perfectly. Perfect hangover meal.

My son and I had breakfast, the staff were charmingly friendly and the place had a great local flair. My son and I had blueberry pancakes with bacon, tasty. The coffee was fresh and hot. Great little spot

We arrived for dinner after 8:00 and we're the only guests. I was hoping for lobster but it wasn't available. I opted for the Fisherman's Pasta. It was delicious. The tomato sauce was flavourful without being overpowering. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The best part was the seafood; salmon, scallops, and shrimp were plentiful and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered steak and eggs. The steak was one of the largest I'd ever seen in a restaurant. He said it was a perfect medium rare, with a really good peppery marinade. His eggs were prepared exactly how he wanted them. I think he'll be talking about this meal for some time. We were both very impressed.
