A&W Restaurant - St. John's

My collar ordered to take for me and him... The burger was so dry and bland, tasted like an old piece of meat without texture or taste... The onion rings were burned with absolutely to the taste or spice on it...Great all fat....The answers from below I can't answer where it was taken out

I was regular since A W opened it many years ago. Many of my wife and friends went to Torbay Road. Especially for breakfast every single weekend religious Sat and Sun New owners bought...this place has finished the quality of food. My wife and many of our friends and acquaintances have stopped going there. But this last week we decided to try again. What a mistake! First we were overloaded. Then we got our breakfast sandwich combo with coffee and haschbrown. It was disgusting. The coffee we told was hardly warm and not fresh. A bite from the hashbrown almost made my wife and I threw it. It was hardly warm and fat literally out of it. And the sausage was best warm. Another customer who sits nearby heard me complain to the server. He came to our table and told us how his order of sprockets had fat literally drip off from them. The statement from the server was ridiculous. What I didn't think for a second. So disappointed as this A W site was the best in the city. We met so many nice people there and made new friends. But since the new owners took the place, the place has changed and not least for the better. I don't show fingers to new ownership, but to check for heaven's will, your people who prepare the food. Honestly, it was disgusting. We don't plan to give this place a third chance. So a bad experience to go from a once big place.

We went with friends tonight and told them we wanted to dine in so we could have glass cups and mugs but the only gave us cardboard take out cups, gave us one order of rings instead of fries and did not give us napkins....We specifically asked for glassware and got the wrong stuff... now they were very busy but in the fast food sector that is expected and they should do better and even the one order of rings we got were not up to the standard I am used to getting at A W! A bit of a disappointment tonight. Won’t stop me from going to another A W but tonight was not up to par!

The staff here are awesome! I go here at least 4x per week just to get my high fat, no carb fix. Ask for anything in a lettuce wrap and they practically put it in a head of lettuce! (All A&W's do this) I love...a double mozzarella burger and skip the tomato as it makes it less slippery and low sugar. Great job guys!

I like breakfast here once a month. I don’t like the burgers as they are high in fat and sodium. The workers are friendly and offer good service. The calories are listed on the big screen. Many friends get together there in the morning.
