I was born in Vancouver BC and currently live Kelowna BC. I was contracting for PAL at the Saint Johns airport for a year some years back now. I would go to the Grumpy Stump every weekend. You guys are damed lucky to have such a cool little pub like that. The people were awesome and the patronage was always good folk. We don't have anything here in Western BC that compares. . . . .well maybe Big Bad John's in Victoria. I sure miss the Grumpy Stump. Shouldn't have changed the name. It was a known name all the way over here.

I had a unexpected great time! great atmosphere, clean bar, and the band was a pleasure to watch/listen to. a littke hidden gem ????
