Vito's Italian Since 1984 - St. Johns

The best Italian place in the world. The food is amazing. Every dish with love. The staff is attentive and gracious. Vito is an absolute jewel. We traveled two hours and it was worth the time. Blessing and gratitude.

The calamari was slightly crispy and incredibly tender, complemented perfectly by Francesca's homemade marinara; we tried both the spicy and regular versions to share. The shrimp bisque was a delightful tomato cream-based soup, infused with seafood essence and filled with chopped shrimp. Our entrees were all generous portions and delicious! We enjoyed the chicken parmesan, sausage and paprika, shrimp scampi, and the seafood specialty—a fresh grouper topped with lump crab over a stunning mushroom risotto. It was to die for! Our servers were attentive from start to finish, which can be a challenge with large parties, but they kept our drinks filled and the baskets of crisp, crusty bread coming, perfect for ensuring we didn't miss a single drop of those incredible sauces. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this place! I love it—there’s nothing better!

The food was outstanding, and the service was impressive as well. Although they were quite busy, it didn’t impact the attentive service we received at our table. Not only did the manager and our waiter keep an eye on us, but several other staff members also made a point to check in.

Went there for the second time. Last time was my parents Anniversary. This time it was my birthday. Food and service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive on my day! Love the place and the food. We will be back.
