Karseggalm - St. Johann im Pongau

That's a jewel. Stunning. The Alm itself is hundreds of years old. Never seen anything like that. Inside you have to believe. Traditional mountain food. Always worth a visit.

It is a very old, beautiful mountain pasture with great views. We went there to try the cheese that was often recommended and all kinds were really delicious. Actually, the address does not show the right place. You have to drive up the hill from the Metzger building on Großarl street and follow the signs.

OMG the cheese here is to die! Also try the beard liquor and the cakes and the... Idyllic attitude, dreamy, easy go!

The Karseggalm is definitely worth a visit. It is one of the old mountain houses in the valley and they serve their own products to try the cheese and you will love it.
