Crisp 'e' Cod - St. Helens

A bit of a hidden gem in Sutton. Excellent fish and chips,always consistent top quality food. Very reasonable prices.

This chippy is the cheapest around by far, chips,fish,peas and a canned drink for under 4 pound, also lovely plate pies, steak and gravy. very clean and popular chippy.

Go to this Chippy every Friday,read the other review and i,am very suprised,each to their own,but i have NEVER had a bad meal,when they are closed for holidays,i,am besides myself to find better,very glad when they reopen ,the amount of punters that they get on a Friday is testiment of how good they are.With regard to places locally,i have yet to find one.Good value,good portions,nuff said.

I have been using this restaurant every Friday and have never been disappointed. It offers good value for money and is always busy, which speaks for itself. Ordering by phone saves waiting time and in my opinion, it is one of the best chip shops in St. Helens.

Fab place, well run and spotless.. Food is super fresh, fish delivered daily.. Pie dinners are amazing and prices are so cheap, too cheap tbh.. staff are lovely and helpful.. Community need too support this small family run business as much as possible.. owner works very hard too provide these excellent services
