Cafe Ohana - ST-DONAT-DE-MONTCALM

As we have heard good reviews from this restaurant, we wanted to try it with our family. unfortunately our experience was short and deceptive. the place was barely occupied, but we were rejected. the reason: we would wait too long, they were already in command. instead of offering us a table and telling us that the service could be delayed, we were inaccurately asked to go. God knows we've ordered drinks there and spent good money while we wait for our lunch. it is a Saturday, we had all the time in the world. it is the first time in my whole life that I testify from such a background a restorative, which decreases clientele. we would have liked to have had the chance to enjoy our experience, but also to deny the opportunity. very surprising and quite unpleasant to be open. Not trying to try my luck again.

Arrived on Saturdays with 3 young children. we said the restaurant was full, but a table was free on the terrace. the weather forecast would be: storms, but this time the weather was cloudy. we asked the staff if they could pack themselves to go container if it started to rain. they told us they could. our orders were accepted, we were offered without drinks or water, we were left without much service. the order came to go container as desired. it had already started raining, but we found cover on the terrace. we were then informed that we were going to eat or eat in the rain, on the picnic tables next door. the personal advised that if we wanted to stay, they would have to place it for us, but because the restaurant was busy, this would take time. the food came cold. we have not finished our meal. when it was time to pay, they have us an additional $10 for going packing. of course, this restaurant does not care about its clientele. eating was just normal, at the price! very bad experience!

Owners will be happy spotting customers with a mouthful of food and no masks. uncomfortable atmosphere over expensive and bad quality

We thought here was an breakfast before we met the road. good options on menu, including veg friendly. cheerful service, cozy ambiente.

Stopped in here for breakfast based on TA reviews. Staff were lovely and greeted with a smile. We were seated right away. The menu has a decent variety. Kids’ options too. Problems with service, however. Both my daughter and I received luke warm chai lattés....I asked for hot water, to improve it but that watered down my drink to a tasteless cup. Waitress did not check if it was ok. We weren’t offered cold water. Two of our four meals were served so far in advance the first two were half eaten before everyone was served. Mine came not the way I requested and we had to go inside to bring it to their attention. Meal never came before everyone else was done and ready to leave! I won’t return. In fact, the options in this town didn’t impress so I would try another base to explore the area next time.
