Six Nine Restaurant Bar - St. Croix

In my 40 years of traveling and dining, I've never experienced anything like this. After having a reservation confirmed the day before, we arrived at the restaurant only to find it closed and dark. I can only assume it has gone out of business.

Food was Ok, Tuna was a little tough. Server was in too much of a hurry for , in my option was not that busy, just dropping plates and running without asking if “is there anything else” and could not get her attention after that. And did not stop back. Happened twice during our dinner. Once when appetizer was dropped, wanted a side plate for a share, and again with entrees. one of the party was able to flag her down for a drink refill and I would have also ordered more drinks but she was off for the one drink that was able to be ordered.

Food was mediocre at best. Chicken was odd in color, texture and taste. Creamy pasta was watery with little flavor. Salmon was overcooked. The server seemed distracted even though there was only one other table of two being served. I inquired about coffee after dinner to which the server said they didn’t have and walked away not considering I might want something else…including desert which my wife ordered but they didn’t wait to see if maybe I wanted something. Disappointing experience.

Service was horrible waitress wrote down no orders . Drink orders were wrong dinner orders were wrong one order was stone cold the bill was wrong . All could have been avoided with an order pad and pen ! Also the wait for food was LONG

They do a great job…. With new chairs things will be much better
