They do a great job…. With new chairs things will be much better

Food was Ok, Tuna was a little tough. Server was in too much of a hurry for , in my option was not that busy, just dropping plates and running without asking if “is there anything else” and could not get her attention after that. And did not stop back. Happened twice during our dinner. Once when appetizer was dropped, wanted a side plate for a share, and again with entrees. one of the party was able to flag her down for a drink refill and I would have also ordered more drinks but she was off for the one drink that was able to be ordered.

So disappointing. To begin with I had to walk around the restaurant to find a chair that wasn’t falling in. The chairs are very worn wicker. I felt like I was sitting in a hole that was going to break through at any minute because it was so torn. Most of the chairs were in that condition. Finally found one that I felt comfortable in. My husband and I both ordered appetizers. I had the scallops and gnocchi with a very heavy cream sauce that had no taste. The scallops were not seared or seasoned properly and were slightly undercooked . Had to ask for salt and pepper because there wasn’t any on the table. My husband had the mussels, and he said that they were just OK. Didn’t really like the tomato broth, and they were served with bread. When asked we were told they didn’t have any bread. They were also out of the conch fritters which was my husband’s first choice of appetizer. For our meals my husband had the grilled pork chop and “truffle” mashed potatoes. He said the potatoes were instant mashed potatoes. What the heck? I had the chicken parm with what was supposed to be fresh mozzarella. It was not. The chicken patty tasted like a pre-breaded patty and the marinara had no flavor. Overall the food was very under seasoned and bland. For the price of this meal we were extremely disappointed and will not be back. We were there for my husband’s birthday which we indicated on the reservation, but no mention was made of it. He was excited to have the fried snapper which we have had there every other time we have been, but for some reason it isn’t on their current menu. Don’t waste your time or money. We should have gotten a clue when there was only one other table occupied the entire time we were there.

We were greeted warmly and kindly. Our table was already set with our place settings and a menu. The bar tender/ server (Kara) made me a mocktail that was absolutely delicious! The server was helpful with suggestions and had patience as we decided. Our food was delicious. From the drinks (including the mocktail) to the appetizers to the desserts! Server (Kara) was attentive, patient and kind. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Table service and atmosphere were amazing! The food took a little bit long to come out, but was worth the wait!
