Niger Reef Tea House - St. Catharines

We have eaten dinner and lunch at Niger Reef on several visits to Saint Andrews and it is consistently delicious. After a walk through town, we stopped in for a soft drink at 11 a.m. and were glad it was open but were wondering if we could eat anything after our big breakfast at Garden Gate B & B but after sitting for awhile and enjoying the view of the bay and the islands, we had a delicious grilled lobster sandwich and enjoyed a cup of chowder. We wandered over to the block house and read all of the historical markers. Beautiful area.

Outstanding place beside the Blockhouse with exquisitely prepared dishes. Note that the lunch menu is different than the dinner options.If the patio (which is very nice) isn't open (eg. Rain) the indoor area is small with just a few tables so a dinner reservation is almost essential.Come early for lunch.

Nice deck with outside dining and lots nice brews. Liked the Curried Chicken Sandwich with green apple and mango spread very much. My wife very much enjoyed the Lamb Burger -local lamb with sundried tomato feta spread

St. Andrew's almost-hidden charmer. The staff is candidly friendly and ALL their food is superb. My fav. is their Chicken Curry sandwich.

Went for dinner and enjoyed fall of the bone (real smoker) beef ribs, Chicken pot pie and Steak with Blueberry whisky glaze. All amazing. Beautiful view. Indoor/outdoor seating. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
