Klostermeisterhaus - St. Blasien

The restaurant we normally visit in St. Blasien was closed so we tried another close. the service was friendly and we have our menu soon. We both ordered a Cordon Bleu. We were both disappointed. The meat was simply not good and smells terrible.... Lunch was clearly under average standards in Germany. Not sure what happens to the cook.

If you are looking for German cosiness, he will meet the nail directly at the head of this old house with his very good kitchen. We sat on the beautiful roof terrace on a blue sunny day with a perfect view of the monastery of St.Blasien, where... some tails Alphorn-Blower played their instruments with skills. We were totally satisfied with everything and had a great lunchtime with asparagus on Sauce Hollandaise. The service was perfect and very friendly. The historic building is located right in the heart of a cozy little Black Forest city with rivers that flow through.

During our trip to Italy we spent some time at the monastery master house. Very nice rooms and excellent rest (traditional Bavarian cuisine as well as some excellent "French adapted cuisine). Very charming hostess and please try their local schnapps!

We stayed one night in this hotel, the rooms are quite spacious and clean, so is the bathroom. It is decorated in typical local style. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always has some tips for what to do in the region.... In the evening we decided to stay at the hotel and taste the restaurant. That wasn't a good idea. The food was overcooked and everything tasted a little flat. For the prices I expected, a higher standard, good for the next time...

The hotel is family business. Very friendly family. We had a very nice double room with sleeping and living room (very practical with children). The food was very delicious. Overall, you can only recommend it. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: ANNEX
