Bidrage med feedbackWe visited the Thai House during a weekend trip to St-Augustine and enjoyed our culinary experience. With the Coronavirus, ONLY outdoor seating is available, but this was not inconvenient as they have a large fan beds and umbrellas throughout the area. Your choice of meals is suitable for vegetarians like me and meat lovers like my partner. I would say that her spices are hot.... I ordered a medium spice Tofu Pad Thai and I would say it bordered on the high end of the medium. Overall, good food, well pictured, quickly made, good seating.
12 Jan 2019 we live approx 1hr 15 min away from St Augustine and visit here every few months or so because it's a great place to hang out after along week of work. Tons of restaurants to try, but when you find the best ones, you keep coming back. Thai House is one of the best ones! Food quality is consistently great, service is great and the restaurant is always clean, well maintained and well decorated. They have inside and outside seating with gas flame heaters for cooler nights, like last night. If you like Thai food you must try this place, you won't regret it! Please give me a like thumbs up!
Service was prompt and attentive (though you did have to go to the counter to order instead of someone coming to your table). Eel lover roll was fresh and tasty! Spicy Thai was fresh and spicy! Tuna tower was fresh and as expected! Thai iced tea was delicious. Outdoor seating was abundant and had a good vibe! I wasn’t a fan of the beverages being served in disposable cups —water in styrofoam and tea/wine in red solo cups. Also, all the food was served in takeout containers. Bad for the environment and doesn’t make for a good overall vibe for a sitdown meal. I’d expect that with takeout. 4/5 for the food, Low level experience, though.
Great Thai food. Great sushi rolls. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who is looking for some food that is very different in St A. I got the peanut curry, sushi and tofu noodle bowl. Make a reservation so you can sit inside or enjoy their patio if it's cooler out. The service takes a little longer than the typical American chain, and the wait is worth it.
The restaurant is situated on the busy Hypolita street and has a nice outdoor seating. They do not take orders at the table, you have to go inside to order and then they will serve you food. The food was served in disposable containers and there was no service provided, which made the restaurant eating experience not up to the mark. They did not even provide plates to eat in and we had to eat in the to-go container boxes. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, fried fish sushi rolls, miso soup, tom kha (coconut) soup, tofu green curry with rice. The sushi was average, spring rolls were good. The other things were just ok.
