Bidrage med feedbackThis charming brewery is conveniently located between downtown St. Augustine and the southern beaches. They offer a wide variety of beer styles, and you can sample them all with their flight options. The brewery features both a front and rear patio, along with ample indoor seating. If you're looking for food, there's a popular taco joint right next door. It's easily accessible by bike from downtown via the Bridge of Lions or a short rideshare, though rideshares can be difficult to find in St. Augustine, so you might end up walking back. We experienced great service from the friendly staff, and the establishment was clean and well-maintained during our visit. They even have a "pay it forward" board where patrons can buy drinks for others, such as "From a veteran to a veteran," which is a nice touch. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit.
A fantastic discovery amidst the tourist crowd! St. Augustine is known for its tourist traps and historic sites, but it also boasts an excellent brewery. Old Coast Ales is conveniently located at the heart of it all. This brewery stands out for its delicious beer and welcoming vibe. They offer a great selection, including an almost perfect Imperial IPA with a robust flavor and a pleasant 8.8% kick. The atmosphere is really enjoyable, with ample seating options both indoors and outdoors. If you find yourself feeling bogged down by the throngs of tourists, this place is definitely worth a visit. Excellent beer awaits!
What a fantastic spot to gather with friends or make new ones while enjoying some fantastic beers. The service was outstanding. Carrie was amazing, serving up drinks with a brilliant smile and a wonderful sense of humor. We will absolutely return!
The beer selection was fantastic, and their coffee beer, brewed with local coffee, is absolutely incredible. You definitely need to give it a try!
As a homebrewer and an avid beer enthusiast, I can be quite discerning when it comes to tasting. During my visit, we tried a flight of six beers, two of which were good, and one that truly stood out as amazing. The tugboat beer was the highlight; it’s not even a style I usually prefer, but it was so delicious that we decided to get a crowler to take home. I also really enjoyed the location, right next to a taco place, which adds to the charm. It’s within walking distance of popular tourist rentals, making it a convenient spot. I would definitely return!
