Pagolac - St. Andrew's Parish

I ordered Pagolac tonight from skip the dishes. A rice bowl and beef skewers with the salad wrap. I haven’t been to the restaurant for a couple years and remember delicious, full portions. Well let me say the quality went down the toilet!!! Both the rice bowl beef and the skewers were paper thin and lacking in flavour. I didn’t spend that much money for a bunch of rice! I wanted meat. Honestly so disappointed. I will spend my money elsewhere. Pagolac, why so cheap??

So disappointed tonight. This is our Go To place but it was far from its usually excellence. Shanghai noodles were mushy and tasteless. Honey chicken was dried out and barely sauced. Other dishes were OK... but not the usual greatness. Hopefully it was just a off night...

As a non vegetarian, I LOVE Pagolac for a change every now and then.

This five star review is long over due. I have been here many times, and I have never been disappointed. The first thing I ever tried was the beef vermicelli bowl with a spring roll, and it was the most delicious vermicelli bowl I've ever eaten. You can not improve this dish; it's perfect as is. I went back at least 10 times solely for the vermicelli bowl, because why fix what's not broken? Well, I'm sick today, and decided to branch out and order some beef pho and I am so happy I did. Another perfect, delicious dish. Everything is perfectly seasoned, and straight up feels wholesome. My boyfriend and I went 3 times in one week a while back, because it is so amazing, and the prices are great! Would 100% recommend this place best vermicelli in the city!
