The pastry is perfect, not too flaky that it falls apart, but not mushy and soft.<br/ <br/ And they also sell home made pyrogies, including the coveted sweet blueberry pyrogies. so yummy.
Great Polish Bakery. In my family there is a definite cultural divide when it comes to Polish baked goods; my husband, who is Polish, loves all of them and I, a Canadian, find some items a bit dry (especially the cheesecake, it's not Canadian cheesecake for sure! My husband assures me that you're supposed to eat the more dry items with coffee. That being said, anyone can appreciate the sweet bread (go early because it always seems to be gone fast , the delicious plum filled jelly doughnuts (pączki , and the apple cake. My husband enjoys the line up to get your goods a taste of Poland I guess : If you manage to leave with less than 5 items, consider yourself a beacon of willpower. This place is great!
