Bidrage med feedbackThis local brewery is excellent, with friendly staff and a spacious, cozy seating area. The bathroom is very clean, which is a big plus. It's always interesting to see the inner workings of a working brewery while enjoying a pint or two. The variety of beer is impressive, ranging from American pale ales to triple IPAs with IBUs ranging from 20 to over 45. The food available on site is from a separate business where you can order pub grub like burgers and sandwiches. It took me a while to understand the significance of the name "14th Star" for a Vermont business, as it relates to my 10th grade US History class from many years ago.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and they had a diverse array of beers brewed right there on the premises. The staff was both friendly and very attentive.
I am eagerly anticipating my next visit to St. Albans, the home of 14th Star Brewing. It is one of my favorite local breweries in the area. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try a variety of their ales and lagers on tap and in cans. I even brought some cans home with me. I quickly became a fan of their beers, enjoying them immensely. Some of my favorite ones were the Tribute DIPA, Maple Breakfast Stout, Valor Ale, Citranade IPA, and the decadent Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. Their tap and brew list is constantly changing, offering a variety of options including Sours, Marzen, Weiss', Kolsch, Boch, Stouts, Smoked Ales, Wild/Farmhouses', and barrel aged concoctions. I look forward to my next road trip and visiting them again.
Veteran owned!! Good beer, good food, and GREAT staff!! This place is kick ass!!! Just like you would expect from a veteran who served our country with honors! I got the green mountain burger. It was possibly the best burger that I have ever eaten!!
I mean... technically these are beers... but yeeeeesh. They taste like the result amateur at-home brewing competition.
