The Courtyard Cafe - St Albans

This restaurant in St. Albans is one of the coziest and most delicious spots you'll find. The staff is incredibly friendly and you must try one of their toasties - it will truly impress you.

This restaurant is a charming and welcoming spot with a pleasant outdoor seating area and tasty food. The coffee has a genuine coffee flavor and the variety of cakes is excellent. The warm goat cheese salad is especially delicious.

The coffee and cakes at this restaurant are delicious, and its location is perfect for a long walk. However, I find it frustrating that customers are no longer allowed to sit on the stone benches, which are spaced far apart, to enjoy their coffee. Sitting and resting while taking in the beautiful countryside and practicing social distancing was a great experience that has now been taken away. Despite most people wearing masks and standing apart in line, I hope the restaurant reconsiders this restriction.

Love this place,really cosy and friendly staff, serving delicious gluten free meals and a range of homemade cakes.
