Travellers House Coffee Tea

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was generic but nice enough. It was clean and plenty of seating options. I ordered a chai latte. It was fine. I wouldn't order the same thing again; too much milk and not enough spice. My friend had an almond joy coffee and very much enjoyed it.

Nice atmosphere. Busy place. I had the southwest quiche. Very good. Just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. Coffee flavor nice. Not bitter.

I stumbled upon this café while traveling and was in search of coffee that wasn't from Starbucks. I was delighted with my iced latte. The coffee had a pleasant roasted flavor and low acidity, which I really enjoyed.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, there was no flavor to be found. I ordered a s'mores latte, and it tasted more like coffee with a lot of milk rather than anything resembling s'mores. Since this was my first visit, I doubt I’ll return.

I visited this location for the first time yesterday with a college friend, and we both enjoyed it just as much as I loved their branch across from Missouri State University, where I used to grab coffee as a student. We really relished our coffee and the dessert we shared. The stylish mugs for dining in, the delightful taste of the espresso drinks, and even the intricate designs of the frothy milk at various coffee shops in Springfield, including Traveler's House, truly impressed us.
