The Chili Parlor - Springfield

Fire brand not as hot as it used to be--still good.

Great small town feel to this place,it reminds me of a diner I would go to with my grandpa. The staff and owner are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. The chili is good,different than chili I’m used to but that’s not a bad thing. I really liked the chili cheese burger as well,loose meat with chili on it,sliced cheese and mustard! Try the fire brand chili bowl challenge,eat at least 1 bowl and get your name on the wall,my 12yr old accomplished this for her birthday and will be going up on the wall soon!

Interesting, and tradition in Springfield. Simple food, with plenty of customisation choices as long as you like Chili and Hotdogs.

Simply put, the best chili in town.  Fully customize-able to taste. if you want mild they got it and if you want super hot they got it, and everything in between.  Personal favorite is a double-touch.  Some people who don't like it don't realize you can hold the oil or ask for light oil.  No beans, light beans, extra beans.  I look forward to every trip to the Chili Parlor.

Medium Hot. This stuff runs hot. I want more. And more. Pass the oyster crackers.
