Kokee Bakery - Springfield

I usually stop by Kokee Tea whenever I visit Springfield Mall and I haven't had major issues with my drinks until today. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Honey Boba and realized after mixing and finally drinking it in my car that there was no boba. I'm extremely disappointed especially since I paid a little extra for the boba topping. The drink itself tastes good but would've been better if it included the boba that I paid extra for. Even though the drinks were made quickly and I didn't have to wait long, I would rather wait longer and have my order made correctly instead of having them quickly make my drink but miss an essential ingredient.

Whenever we go to Springfield Mall, I'm always tempted to stop at Kokee for a tea, but this time I was intrigued by the mochi donuts! It was late in the day, so they only had a couple of flavors left. Fortunately, they had one taro donut left, so I grabbed it. So glad I did! It was delightful. The donut was not dense at all, but rather on the light and fluffy side (compared to regular mochi ...great soft, slightly chewy and light texture. The taro glaze was delicious, not overly sweet, and just the right amount so as not to overwhelm the more delicate mochi flavors. I was very impressed, and now even considering going back to buy a box of six next time to share with my coworkers :

I just had a problem with you guys employees from Springfield mall in Virginia he was absolutely rude. It was my first time at the place and I was asking questions because I didn't know much about the drink after I ordered my drink the employee Jose Celestino Preceded to tell the other employee that was there that I was a pendeja (it's a really offensive word in spanish) for not knowing I asked him why would you say that about me and he just told told me to get my drink and leave I asked for the manager and he said that the manager was never there. I couldn't believe what happened I just asked for a refund and left the drink there this was an awful experience.

Got the thai tea. Tasted bland, almost like water with a hint of thai tea condensed milk The fruit drinks are okay Guy working the register isnt very informative Service 2/5 My drink 1/5 GFs drink 4/5 (rose from sanfran w/ aloe vera)

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I arrived to the shop at 7:53pm. They close at 8. As I 'm about to pay JOSE asked me cash or card I said cash. He said no do you have card and I didn 't. He said he already counted his drawer so he couldn 't take cash and I told him it 's not my issue that he closed them so he then told that next time I better have card. He also told me how would you like it if I came to your job after you closed your registers . And I told him I would never take customers after closing and he put his hands to my face and told me OK THANKS BYE BYE BYE
