Incredibly Delicious Cakes

Super disappointed in the birthday cake I ordered I ordered a lemon/raspberry cake They did not want to deviate from their online design which forced me to add these red dots all over the cake I dislike the taste and staining of red dyes and other dark colors and avoid them at all costs, but they refused to alter which right off I didn’t appreciate But it was for my moms birthday found out she had cancer and would be starting treatment soon, so wanted a special cake We have gotten cake here before Chocolate/ which everyone enjoyed But everyone was not happy with the lemon/raspberry cake for the price over 40.00 plus for a small cake) that they refuse to accommodate to your liking it was disappointing. I said I wanted little flowers and they were just dots of frosting maybe it’s Picasso’s version of a flower lol) our family was really shocked especially as I stated at this price point If it had blown us away with its flavor maybe??? but no nope Walmart has a whipped frosting cake everyone would have probably loved My mom who was the birthday girl 89 years old didn’t like it I am sick so had someone pick it up, when I called the bakery, I had paid online they did not have what I felt was a reasonable response like I’m sorry you didn’t like it, or something instead they seemed to blame ME Cake decorating is an art and I would allow the “ Artist” great freedom of creation Being unable to compromise is in my mind a fail That was not saved with the flavor

This place has always been my go-to breakfast/lunch stop. It never misses. Fresh pastries and desserts. The menu changes quite often, so next time you’re downtown definitely check it out!!

Best in town. Lot of cake options. You can pre-order as well. Breakfast and brunch.

A oddly located bakery and cafe, does well with a number of their baked goods. We also stopped for lunch (had definitely enjoyed their cinnamon buns at the farmers market), and would approve of the baguette sandwiches and the quiche (haven 't gone any farther through the menu). Ordering is slightly more difficult than it should be, but the inside was worth looking at in both indoor seating areas. Given the other options in town, would make this on the recommended list.

Wedding cake design and flavor, ambiance, macaroons, all of it 5 stars. One of my favorite stops in Springfield. Looking forward to enjoying our wedding cake again in a year; that's how tasty it was!! (Vanilla cake with strawberry jam and buttercream)
