Bidrage med feedbackYesterday, on 9/19, I called the Battlefield HyVee Pharmacy around 3:30PM in the afternoon in an attempt to transfer two controlled medications from the Sunshine HyVee Pharmacy. Unfortunately, the Sunshine location did not have the medications I needed in stock. I called the Battlefield location to inquire about their stock availability. The man I spoke to had a condescending and uncooperative attitude towards me when I informed him of the medications and doses I required. He seemed unsure if they had the medications in stock, but eventually claimed they did. However, he stated that he personally would not allow me to pick up the medications unless I also had a non-controlled medication sent there for pickup alongside the controlled ones. Since I already pick up my non-controlled medication elsewhere due to cost reasons, and had enough supply at the moment, this was not feasible for me. Without insurance, HyVee was the most affordable option for me to obtain my controlled medications using GoodRx. Overall, it was a frustrating 5-minute conversation with the man at the pharmacy who spoke to me in a patronizing manner. I was in urgent need of my medications to sleep and manage my ADHD, and this experience was a disappointment.
The pharmacy located on Battlefield Street in Springfield is terrible.
Every time I go to this Hyvee Pharmacy, I encounter problems. One major issue is that my prescriptions are never ready when I come to pick them up. Even if I request them to be filled the day before, I still end up waiting 30 minutes for them to be prepared after standing in a long line. There have been instances where they promised my prescription would be ready, only for me to find out they didn't have it in stock, causing me to be without my medication for days. Recently, they only gave me drawing needles without the syringe, and I had to wait an additional 15+ minutes for them to put together the syringes I needed. In the entire year that I have been going there, I haven't had a single visit without any issues. I would advise going to a different pharmacy. The only reason I continue to go to this one is because it is the most affordable option.
I have issues every single time I come to this Hyvee Pharmacy. One being them not having my prescriptions ready literally any time I am supposed to pick them up. It could be set to be filled the day before and when I go the next day I’m waiting 30 minutes for them to fill it… and that’s after waiting 10 15 min in line to even pick them up. They have told me before that they would have it ready and they ended up not having it in stock at all and I missed my meds by multiple days something you would think they would call you about, but I had only been told when I called to check if my prescription was ready. Most recently they gave me only drawing needles with no syringe, and I had to wait 15+ minutes for them to put together 6 or so syringes after waiting 15 min to pick it up. In the year timespan I have gone there, there hasn’t been once that I haven’t had an issue. I would recommend going to another pharmacy. The only reason and I mean the only reason I have stayed at this one is because it is the cheapest.
This place keeps getting worse. The Asian man behind the counter wouldn't sell me insulin needles. I have been diabetic for 5 years and have never once needed a prescription for needles He essentially called me a liar and told me to go somewhere else.
