Hibachi - Springfield

The atmosphere and service were enjoyable, but the food was disappointing (the scallops tasted fake). There was no sushi available, which they explained was due to their sushi chef being ill. However, based on previous reviews, it appears that their sushi chef has been unwell for quite some time. We still had a fun time with family, but we’ll likely seek out a different hibachi restaurant in the future.

Initially, they were out of sushi. The appetizers were overcooked, and the seafood in our main dishes was also overdone. The drinks were acceptable, but the vegetables were the only items that were cooked properly.

The food is amazing, the chefs have a great sense of humor, and the waitstaff is kind and attractive.

Frequent this location multiple times over the years. Unfortunately couldn't get sushi at this time was the only downfall.

Food was great. It's a pretty run of the mill hibachi restaurant. Sushi was completely unavailable when we went so call first if that's what you are planning to go there for.
