Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Springfield

The service was good but this place seems short staffed. The one person serving ice cream was the same person that was running the till which resulted in a bit of a line. Otherwise everything else was fine

They changed the hours at the store but did not update on here. Drove 15 minutes for some evening ice cream. Got there 30 minutes before the posted closing hours on here and the lights were already off!

Does this look like food of even standard quality to you? There was black lettuce and hair in the sundae!

I only took one picture to share with my wife, but I'm including it here as an example. This restaurant is incredibly dirty—almost to a laughable degree. Having worked in the food industry for ten years, I would be genuinely embarrassed to manage a place that's kept in such poor condition. If this is what I can see in the dining area, I can't even imagine how unsanitary it must be in the kitchen.

This restaurant seems to frequently update their hours, but the times they confirm don’t match what's posted on their door. They do not stay open until 10 p.m.; in fact, they stop serving food at 9 p.m. However, the staff are friendly, and the food is consistently tasty and well-prepared.
