Big Red Halal - Springfield

I cannot believe my husband and I are just now finding out about this spot! We ended up coming two days in a row. Delicious and fresh made to order halal food. We?ve tried the platters, chicken gyro sandwich (my fav), quesadilla and tenders. Masala fries are a must with your meal and the price is amazing for the amount of food you get. We?re regulars now ????

Very good food. I have had the gyro along with the Masala fries and gyvo over rice. It is all good and very quick.

We have been a few times and the staff is always super friendly. All the options for toppings look very fresh. Have gotten gyro meat over rice both times with the chick peas and both the portion size and quality of the food is excellent. Good while hot, or as a leftover cold out of the fridge. The cinnamon rice pudding is also well worth asking for.

Really good chicken gyro. Very friendly and helpful staff. I could tell they had regulars, which is always a good sign. I thought pricing was good compared to the size of the gyro and considering the issues restaurants are facing right now. I?m not sure why a few people have said they won?t drive 30 minutes for it, evidently that?s a way to measure the quality of food. I thought it was good and for those of us that work nearby I will return for lunch or grab it on the way

I got it for the first time last 2 weeks and it was great. They put good amount of sauce and not too much rice. Today, my bf went to get chicken over rice for me. He asked for extra vegetables and less rice. What I got was 80% of rice 5% of vegetables and 25% of rice. And they over put the sauce.
