The best fried catfish you will find outside of... well, anywhere in the world as far as I am concerned! But that's not all... the hush puppies, fried okra, sweet potato fries, even the Cole slaw are all wonderful! And that's just to name our favorites we haven't tried anything we didn't think was great. We are only in Springfield a couple times a year and never miss a trip to Big Easy. We were a little concerned when they moved to a larger place that they might lose some of the magic, but there was NO reason to worry at all! This place has real heart and soul the food is awesome, staff are wonderful. Two thumbs WAY up!

Fantastic food!! Oh my goodness! Went with my family for a birthday dinner, couldn't decide what to get it all sounded so delicious. Settled down on a shrimp po'boy, oyster po'boy, seafood gumbo, shrimp and grits and boudin balls. (We shared around) It was all FANTASTIC!!! The server we had was great. Would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation! Do yourself a favor and go hungry so you can try a few things!!!

Loved everything about this place! Wonderful food! Great service! They even give kids a cookie from the cookie jar on the way out. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The shrimp and grits I had here yesterday were the best I’ve had since I visited my son in Charleston SC. It’s great to find food this good in Springfield. I’ll definately make this restaurant one my top choices.
